So far, I have set dope for the 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 yard lines with a 5R, 20" barrel BZO at 100 yd line.

The dope was taken both in the morning (7am) and evening (6pm) Eastern Time. The temp was 63 degrees wind was at 15 MPH quarter value coming from 4 O’clock. Humidity was 33% and barometric pressure was 30.05

The rifle being used was a Remington model 700 with a Leupold Mark IV M2 TMR Reticle Scope. The adjustments are made at 1/2 MOA for both elevation and wind.

100 - 0
200 - 2
300 - 5
400 - 9
500 - 13
600 - 171/2

Thanks for sharing your data! Just so you know, for continuity, we like to refer to our dope in MOA and not in 'clicks', this way everyone agrees on what it means and they are alone are responsible for making the appropriate corrections on their particular scope (if it is light enough to see your turret, it is faster to go to 8.5 than counting to 34 also). This way, you are giving actual data to the shooter when asking them to make an adjustment and any corrections after that are in tangible numbers that can be interpreted easily by impacts or corrections on the target. Sorry for the long explanation... I just want you to know where we are coming from.

So we can compare to our .308 dope to yours, I have adjusted it for you.

Did a little bit of shooting this week with my Rem 700 SPS Tac. 20" .223 with Nikon 4.5-14x40mm. Only doped from 50-300 yards (not able to get much more distance where I am shooting). Ammunition was Remington 45grn JHP, conditions were 71 degrees, humidity about 65%, baro was at 29.25inHg, and wind was light...barely rustling the trees.

Cleck,

Is your data for 168 grain or 175 grain match grade ammo?

I'll supply my dope for L.A. conditions hopefully next week probably only out to 600 yards and in 100 yard increments. I use Federal .308 168 grain BTHP Gold Medal Match ammo.

175gr. Good question.

I see almost no difference up close, and only a slight difference at distance between 168 and 175 in my rifle.
